In this step, you will need to include the operational strategy of your NGO by:<\/p><ul><li>Defining the corporate purpose and objectives<\/li><li>Selecting the legal entity: its nature will change according to members\u2019 number, legal status, and income and tax treatment.<\/li><li>Choosing a name for your NGO<\/li><li>Elect the board and representatives.<\/li><li>Develop your fundraising and project financing strategy<\/li><\/ul><p>Make sure to draft the by-laws per the applicable law. You must file for this authorization through the Ministry of Economy\u2019s website. First, the Notary will review your by-laws and ONG\u2019s purpose to verify its accordance with the law. Some important things to include in the by-laws are the full name of the partners, the name of the organization, and the kind of legal entity. Then, the legal representative will need to schedule an appointment in the local tax authority office and provide the public deed, power of attorney, and official identification (usually the passport).
