Last week, international consultancy ROE Latam successfully conducted a high-impact training program for CORSAIN (Corporación Salvadoreña de Inversiones) in El Salvador, focusing on internal audit requirements under the ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management Systems standard.

This advanced 40-hour course marked the second phase of CORSAIN’s comprehensive compliance initiative, building upon the foundation laid in December 2024 by expert instructor Rodrigo Obregón, who led the initial ISO 37001 implementation training.

• Planning and executing internal audits aligned with ISO 37001, including risk-based audit programming, document review, and audit sampling methodology

• Identifying nonconformities and assessing compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual anti-bribery requirements

• Designing actionable audit reports and follow-up strategies that contribute to continual improvement

Beyond technical instruction, the course emphasized the importance of independence, due professional care, and the ethical role of auditors in preventing bribery risks across organizations.
